Casa del Encanto is a family run Bed and Breakfast Inn located in the community of Altos del Maria, 90 kilometers west of Panama City. This 7000 acre development in the mountains, with its rivers, streams and lush vegetation, has the feel of a national park.
We are nestled in the Maria River Valley on three acres of beautiful gardens, with a year round creek running through the property. We offer a quiet refuge, in a tropical environment, with four-star amenities. In our open air restaurant beside the creek, you will be able to enjoy healthy cuisine from around the world.
Our Bed and Breakfast Panama is an ideal base for exploring the mountains and valleys, or the Pacific beaches. The beaches of Coronado and Playa Blanca are about a 40 minute drive, where you can also play golf and go horse riding. The town of El Valle is just over an hour away,* where there is an artisans’ market every Sunday.
Our local villages, Sora and Picachu are close enough to give us the opportunity to meet, work with and get to know our Panamanian neighbours.

*A new road is under construction between Altos and El Valle. This new 9 km road is expected to be open by mid 2009.
